Kara Jo from Santa Fe, Texas has always enjoyed a healthy lifestyle and now wants photos to remember it. Her mom knew it would be fun to go to Cozumel and do photos in various places that make taking photos fun. Kara is a down home country girl that loves her husband, her family and is proud of where she comes from. Shooting in the morning and evening left time during the day for fun snorkeling.
In this picture we pretended she was queen of the mountain (not a mountain, but you get the point)
I think she picked this because it was 6 a.m. and she would have rather slept in.
There are Mayan Ruins from centuries ago that we got to see in the state park.
If you plan on trying these shots, boots and sand do not mix well, lol. Her mom did all the work.
I was surprised she started laughing before I even told one of my corny jokes. She said the thorns were poking her and knew if we got a good smile photo, we would move to another location.
I like action in a photo, so we had a contest who could throw the most sand with our toes...she won.

Jessica and David moved away from the city to start over as a couple and spend more quality time with each other with less distractions. They are both laid back and said they just wanted the shoot to be short and sweet. By the end of the two hours, he said, "I can not remember the last time we kissed this much." He smiled bigger after kissing, so it was expected I would ask them to kiss a lot. Looks like I might be taking other photos of them in the near future, so keep your eyes open for more kissing and laughing.

Bill and Megan are amazing. They let me join them on their engagements, her bridals, their wedding in Jamaica, her pregnancy and now 1-week-old baby photos. It is great to have friends that allow me to share these precious moments. It was our goal to capture real moments in places they really sleep and things that Reece likes to play with.
This is a chain Megan gave bill the day of their wedding, till today he has not removed it.

He works downtown, and she loves the parks. She is feisty and laughs all the time, and he lets her take the stage. They are a great example of how opposites attract. She has great taste in shoes and clothes. She did not ask he if she looked cute; all she wanted to know is which shoes go best with each outfit.
She likes to visit him downtown on Main Street.
She loves this tie on him, partially because she picked it out.
This is the exact bench where he proposed to her on one knee.
While she can appreciate architecture downtown, she also loves roses.
They both enjoy time spent away from distractions where they can talk about anything.

Charles and Chelsea flew me to Hawaii to photograph their wedding. He is the subtle, protector type, while she is the outgoing city girl with crazy friends who beg me to take photos of everything. She likes drama, and that was my focus in capturing their wedding and aspects of their life that are unique.
This is the oldest chapel on base.
Chelsea and Charles make a good team, so we put them on the field where movies have been made.
This being one of the oldest bombers, I wanted it to look like a scene from an old movie.
She is the one that will jump off a cliff just to show you she is not afraid of the ride down. I like someone who says there are no rules to photography and appreciates creativity.
